Unalaska/Dutch Harbor may seem remote, but you need not do without the creature comforts. The community has a nice hotel, an eclectic mix of eateries as well as a variety of night-life establishments. The necessities are within walking distance of the hotels, but there is an array of tours, taxis and car rentals for getting around and exploring more of the community's two islands. Marine/fishing charters and flight seeing are also available.
So, whatever your comfort level or wherever your adventurous side may take you, Unalaska/Dutch Harbor has something for everyone!
