Primary Education The Unalaska City School District, consisting of Eagle’s View Elementary School (pre-K-5th Grades) and the Unalaska City School (6th-12th Grades), was voted one of the best 100 school districts in the nation by Offspring magazine. It also has consistently been one of the highest scoring schools in Alaska in both the Standards-based exams and Alaska Exit Exam. In 2006 the Unalaska City School District was honored with the Outstanding School Board Award and the Superintendent of the year award; both granted by the Alaska Association of School Boards. Secondary Education The University of Alaska Aleutian Pribilof Campus is an extension campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks. This college, part of the College of Rural Alaska network, offers both distance and conventional classroom classes with a variety of majors offered.
