Mission
"The Unalaska/Port of Dutch Harbor Convention and Visitors Bureau is established to promote and encourage tourism and the tourism trade in the Unalaska/Port of Dutch Harbor area."
In order for us to accomplish this mission, the CVB attracts visitors to our region through advertising, press releases, tradeshows, convention bids, and responses to visitor inquires.
As a member of the CVB, your business is promoted by the CVB staff when answering the many inquiries we receive. Your company's brochures and business cards are displayed in the CVB office, and through direct mailings to individual inquiries and to travel/trade companies.
Funding is received from the City's visitor generated bed tax and from membership dues. Additional sources of funding also are being sought.
